CAMO Holds Free Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Seminar to Help Educate Fighters on What You Need To Know Before You Go Pro - hosted by Jeremy Lappen
On Saturday, December 4th, in keeping with its mission of providing valuable training for aspiring professional fighters, CAMO hosted a free seminar open to the public entitled “What You Need to Know Before You Go Pro.” Attended by the State Champion contenders and many other CAMO licensees, the seminar's panelists included Bas Rutten, Josh Barnett and Razor Rob McCullough along with an experienced group of managers, promoters and PR professionals. The panel spoke to the young fighters about what to expect and what was important to understand should they pursue a career as professional mixed martial artists. “This was an extremely informative event,” explains CAMO CEO Jeremy Lappen. “For many of these fighters they don’t have access to anyone to learn from about what it really takes to succeed at the next level. We are doing this to give them that knowledge. For these panelists to donate their time to help educate these kids and provide such valuable information for their future careers is really commendable. We greatly appreciate their support and know the athletes are so much better for it.” CAMO hopes to make this at least an annual seminar to be held in conjunction with future State Championships.
