I started MMA as a teenager and then started drifting away from it. In my 20's I decided that is what I loved and was good at so I dove right back in, this time to do cage fights. As soon as I did my first one I knew this is what I wanted to do so I dedicate myself to the gym and trying to get better each and every day. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to fight in BJ Penn's just scrap here in Hawaii and become the amateur 170 pound champion. Every day I look at it as a blessing and I strive to be better than I was the day before. My current amateur record is 6-0.
