Background
I have been doing martial arts for 16 years now. I earned a junior blue belt in karate and tae-kwo-do before leaving to pursue more combative martial arts. I have a purple belt in kickboxing, 2 years of Muay Thai experience, and am taking up judo (sacramento judo) and gracie style brazilian jiu-jitsu (placer county grapplers). I have competed in 2 smokers (international rules kickboxing, combat grappling, jiu-jitsu) and pankration events.
